Augmented Reality (AR) is a fun way to visualize things in the real world. It’s also a great way to create an immersive game or an interactive experience that you can share with your friends. There are many tools out there that make creating AR easier than ever before, but today we’ll talk about four of our favorites: Blender, Google Blocks, AR Studio and Unity.
Blender is a free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline–modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking. Blender’s features are extended by add-ons that can be downloaded from its repository.
Blender has been used for animated films such as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), Sin City (2005), Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) and Akira (1988). It has also been used for video games such as Wipeout 2097/XL HD(2010) or Star Citizen(2014).
Google Blocks is a 3D modeling tool that lets you create and share 3D objects in an online environment. You can use it to create things like furniture and buildings, or even print your creations on a 3D printer.
You have access to blocks with different shapes and colors that you can connect together to build an object. If you need help getting started, there are tutorials on how to use each feature of Google Blocks so that anyone can get started building their own objects in this space!
AR Studio is a tool for creating augmented reality experiences. It’s available on the web, Android and iOS. The app is free and open source, so you can use it to create your own AR apps or modify existing ones.
You can add 3D objects in the real world using Google’s computer vision technology (the same one that powers Google Lens). You can also create custom animations with ARCore or ARKit by using things like physics simulations to make them look more realistic as they move around on screen.
Unity is a game engine. It’s also cross-platform and powerful, but those are less important to us right now. What matters most is that Unity is a great way to get started with augmented reality (AR).
In fact, many of the apps on this list use Unity as their base code. This means that if you’re interested in creating your own AR app–and who isn’t?–you can learn how to do so using these apps as examples of what works well and what doesn’t work so well when it comes to integrating AR elements into your app or game’s design.

Augmented reality is a fun way to visualize things in the real world. It can be used to bring things to life, make people’s lives easier, create new experiences and so much more!
Augmented Reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video or graphics. It is related to a more general concept called mediated reality, which can refer to anything mediated by technology not just AR.
AR is an exciting technology with many applications. It has the potential to transform how we work, play and learn. The best part about it is that anyone can get started right away! You don’t need any special skills or equipment–just open up one of these apps on your phone or tablet and start exploring what’s possible with augmented reality today.
